Jersey FATCA reporting deadline may be extended to 31 July 2015

The Jersey tax authorities announced that if a reasoned request is made for an extension of the reporting period until 31 July 2015, then we may consider the extension, as long as the Reporting Financial Institution has registered on the Jersey AEOI online portal.

In future years, financial institutions will have until 30 June to report information relating to the previous calendar year.
